You don’t have to keep holding it all together on your own
You might look like you’re coping on the outside, but inside feel overwhelmed, anxious, or constantly overthinking.
You may have ADHD, or suspect you do. You might struggle with burnout, emotional intensity, relationship patterns that repeat, or a nervous system that rarely feels calm.
Perhaps you’re exhausted from trying to manage everything alone. You want to feel steadier, clearer, and more in control of your reactions. You want relationships that feel secure rather than anxious. You want your mind to feel like it works with you, not against you.
I offer trauma informed, neurodiversity affirming psychotherapy tailored to how your brain and nervous system actually function. My approach is compassionate, practical, and grounded. We work at a pace that feels safe, building insight and meaningful change without overwhelm.
Therapy with me is not about fixing you. It is about understanding your patterns, regulating your nervous system, and helping you feel more secure in yourself and your relationships.

Counselling Approaches
CBT can be helpful for understanding how thoughts, feelings, and behaviours interact, particularly when working with anxiety and emotional distress. I use CBT in a collaborative and flexible way, supporting you to notice unhelpful patterns and develop practical coping strategies. This work is paced and adapted to you, with an emphasis on self-compassion rather than self-criticism, and aims to support greater clarity, confidence, and emotional resilience.
SFT can be helpful when you feel stuck or overwhelmed and want to move towards change in a practical and manageable way. This approach pays attention to your strengths, resources, and what is already working, rather than focusing solely on difficulties. I use solution focused work collaboratively, supporting you to clarify goals and take small, meaningful steps forward, while remaining mindful of your pace and individual circumstances.
DBT-informed work can be helpful for people who experience intense emotions, difficulties with impulse control, or challenges in relationships. I draw on DBT skills in an integrative way, focusing on emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. This approach is used flexibly and collaboratively, alongside other therapeutic work, and can be supportive for clients who experience emotional dysregulation, including some neurodivergent individuals.
I work in a trauma informed way, prioritising safety, pacing, and emotional regulation. Therapy may include stabilisation, gentle exploration of traumatic experiences, and integration, depending on what feels appropriate for you. I adapt the work to your individual needs, ensuring you remain in control throughout the process. I am also trained in the Rewind Technique, which can be helpful for single incident trauma. I do not currently work with war veterans or military personnel.
Attachment and inner child work explore how early relationships and experiences may continue to influence your emotions, beliefs, and patterns in adulthood. I use this approach gently and collaboratively to support greater self understanding, self compassion, and emotional safety. This work can help you recognise and soften unhelpful patterns, develop healthier relationships, and feel more securely connected to yourself and others.
I work in a neurodiversity-informed way, recognising that differences in thinking, processing, communication, and sensory experience are part of human diversity rather than deficits to be fixed. I aim to adapt therapy to your individual needs, pace, and communication style, offering flexibility and clarity where helpful. My focus is on understanding your lived experience, reducing overwhelm, and supporting emotional wellbeing without pathologising or pressure to mask.
